That's not what I was saying at all. I was simply complimenting the creativity of the design and marketing of the film. My comment has nothing to do with the film's content, which I didn't love, tbh. Say what you will about the film, the three posters put out by Neon evoke a mood. They're eerie and inscrutable and capture the film's tone. If you don't agree that they're intriguing, that's your right. As for the YouTube video, it's a shlocky idea that has roots in stunts pulled by the likes of Castle and Corman; but I give them credit for doing it. Too few films go out on a limb in terms of creative marketing. Longlegs might not have lived up to the hype, but credit for creating the hype in the first place.
